Mateando was a project to develop a subscription box service. Most yerba mate branding is traditional in design and I decided to take a fresh bold direction using bold typography and bright colors.
The bee design was one of those happy little accidents that came about trying to describe to someone what yerba mate was. The bee is a combination of the mate cup to make the body and yerba leaves for wings.
